Persistent battery notification fix

For anyone dealing with the persistent battery notification on their Samsung Galaxy S series phone, here's what you can do to fix it.

  1. Navigate to https://btu.bose.com/ and update your headphones via USB to the latest version.
  2. Reset your headphones and reconnect to your phone.
  3. If you are still experiencing the problem, go to Settings -> Apps, and choose "Google" from the list.
  4. Click the "Disable" button and when prompted with "Disabling built-in apps may cause errors in other apps", click the "Disable" option.
  5. It will prompt you again with "Replace this app with the factory version? All data will be removed." Click the "Cancel" option.
  6. Click the "Enable" button. You may see the battery notification one more time and then it should be fixed.

I hope this helps someone out there.
