My suggestion (as I do not work for Bose) is you will need to provide significantly more information about what your issue is since I have an iPhone 7+ and a QC35ii and music plays fine. Suggest you:
1. Clear out everything on your Qc35ii by resetting it (so there are no BT connections)
2. Then remove any Bluetooth connection on your iPhone for a Bose device. Power off your iPhone and restart it.
3. Re-pair you iphone to your QC35ii
If that does not help, let Bose moderators here know.
Hello Rjh319,
Thanks for posting in the community, I am sorry to hear you are having trouble playing music via Bluetooth on your QuietComfort 35 headphones. I would be more than happy to help you out today, I would recommend trying the steps @joelirwin has suggested and also try a product reboot. Please follow the steps below to reboot the QC35's:
• Turn off the headset and wait 30 seconds
• Plug the headset into a wall outlet using a USB charger, then wait 5 seconds
• Unplug the USB cord from the headset and wait 1 minute
• Turn on the headset
I hope this helps, let me know how you get on!
Kindest regards,
Zoe C -Community Support
I am sorry you are also having issues with the volume, this is not normal behavior. I would recommend trying the product reboot suggested in my last post if you have not already done this:
• Turn off the headset and wait 30 seconds
• Plug the headset into a wall outlet using a USB charger, then wait 5 seconds
• Unplug the USB cord from the headset and wait 1 minute
• Turn on the headset
If this does not solve the issue please let me know!
Kindest regards,
Zoe C
highly unlikely it is a Qc35ii bluetooth 'issue' or function of the Qc35ii.
1. Connect your phone and the QC35ii with a wire and see if it still happens
2. Try a different iPhone music playing app - I use the free Ecoute for example to play music local to my phone which I transfer to my phone with the windows-based iSkysoft iTransfer application/program.
