QC 35 Case Cleaning

Hi,

Long story, but I spilled coffee into my case for the QC35.  (It got on the headphones too, but after wiping them off any ensuring they were dry everything worked fine).

The only problem I have now is that the case really smells like coffee as soon as it is opened...

I am hesitant to use a lot of soapy water as I don't know if the material in the middle layer of the case is carboard.

Can anyone confirm if the case is lined with plastic or carboard, or something else?

Thank you for your time!

Paul

Hi paul343,

Thanks for the great question. You should be safe using a wet cloth with mild soap without a problem. I do not believe that there is any cardboard in the case.

Re: QC 35 Case Cleaning

Thanks for the response.  Cleaned with hot soapy water, no damage to what I thought may have been carboard backing.

Cheers!
