Sorry for taking so long to reply, I've been busy.  Yes, the headphones will connect to other Bluetooth devices.  I have it set up with the bose connect app, as far as I know, there isn't any other way to make it connect to things unless you use the app on the phone; which is connected by Bluetooth.

Many thanks for testing this for us. 

 

As Joelirwin has mentioned, there is definitely an issue with the Bluetooth connection between the headphones (along with other Bluetooth speakers) with some Windows/Mac computers. As you have done a fresh install of Windows as part of your troubleshooting, can I ask if you could contact Microsoft to see if they can provide any further assistance. Hopefully with this information we can try to find out what could be causing this issue.
