QC 35 II audio cable connection problem

When the audio cable is fully inserted into the headphone jack, sound will not work. I have to have it 98% inserted for sound to come through. I have tried two different devices and the problem persists. Is the audio cable sizing incorrect or is there a problem with the headphones?

Also, the volume control does not work with the wired connection.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the community. 

 

In regards to your headphones, the volume controls and microphone are located on the headset. When you plug in the cable it deactivates the these functions. As the headphones are designed to be used with Bluetooth the cable doesn't have these functions. However, there are compatible cables on our website with microphones and controls which will work with your headphones. 

 

It sounds as if their maybe an issue with your cable for your headphones, as you do not get audio when the cable is fully inserted.
