QC35 II - Disable noise cancellation when using 3.5mm jack?

When I use the headphones in Bluetooth mode, I can set the action button to toggle noise cancellation. If I then plug in the cable to listen to computer audio, noise cancellation jumps back to high, and now the action button does nothing. Is it even possible to disable noise cancellation when listening via wire?

Hi NotDennis,

Thank you for taking the time to post to and welcome to the community!

The headphones do not have an internal memory that allows it to retain the settings that you allocate to it in the application. The headphones need to be connected via Bluetooth to recognize these settings.

I hope this answers your question, have a great day!

Kindest,

Memory or not, is there no way to change the noise cancellation setting when listening in wired mode?

Hi NotDennis,

You will not be able to adjust the Noise Cancellation as the headphones would need to be connected to Bluetooth to receive the settings from the application.

Have a great day!

Re: QC35 II - Disable noise cancellation when using 3.5mm jack?

In all fairness, I think it isnt right to say that the headphones do not have an 'Internal Memory'

It is able to run a firmware with basic operation, voice prompts as well as remember a list of 8 different devices.

Its just a matter of adding code in the next software update to "enable" this feature. It would be a great addition to the product, whether or not it is in bluetooth or wired mode.

Hope this gets integrated somewhere in a future update.
