QC35 Power Switch Failure

Recently, my QC35 power switch has stopped powering off the headphones when set to the "off" position.  The BT light remains on and/or I can wake them up from my phone.  Also when unplugging them from charging, they turn on even though the power switch is set to the off position.  I have the latest version of the firmware, and I have attempted all the fixes mentioned on this forum to no avail.  From reviewing this forum, it appears that this is a common defect with this model.  Headphones were purchased about a year ago for $350.  It appears that power switch is also an issue with the QC35 II.  Seems like a serious design flaw to me.

I came here looking to see if others were having this issue too!

 

My QC35s (Gen 1) are doing the same thing. The only fix for me is to turn the auto-off setting to something like 5 minutes.  Is there a more permanent fix?
