Many thanks for the suggestions. I have tried the reset as per suggestion but had no luck. The headset is still displaying the same anomaly.

You need to contact support as there are some headsets - mine was one too, that had to be replaced.  That was the only way to resolve it and I have had NO issues since.

As at the time when the problem started, they were under warranty. As at today, they still are.

Problem now is that they may not be by February next year which is the latest estimated time i would be in the US.
