I got my QC35 a year ago. I started to hear the whitenoise 4 months or so later. It is not a small noise, is quite disturbing. It is hardware for sure; sometimes I just twist them a little an the noise goes, but it comes back fast...
I've tried EVERYTHING mentioned here and more. Nothing worked. The white niose is there and it shouldn't be; not even the very low quality noise cancelling heaphones have that noise. After using the QC15 for years I know what good quaility sound is, it has literally no white noise at all.
The problem is that I bought them back in my home country and there is noway I will get a refund, haven't been able to come back for a year.
This is quite disappointing. I was a huge Bose fan, but I don't think I will buy another Bose product in the future again.
