QuietComfort 35 II Sound Quality Issue On Windows 10 PC

I just purchased a brand new pair of QC 35 II headphones. I very specifically chose them for the very high audio quality.

When connected to my phone, I have absolutely no problem with these headphones. They sound great, the audio is rich and clear.

When connected to my Windows 10 PC, however, it's a different story. When I have the default audio device set to the Headphones, the only level of quality they can be set to is "CD quality" which is frankly terrible. Using the provided aux cord doesn't help either, as that sounds even worse. Do I have any options here? Why the difference in quality between the two devices? This is extremely frustrating, as it now feels like I payed top dollar price for mediocre quality.

Re: QuietComfort 35 II Sound Quality Issue On Windows 10 PC

Hi Ian.Hearn95,

Thanks for posting. That does sound frustrating.  It does sound like a setting within Windows 10. I was able to find this video that might help,

Fix Windows 10 Bluetooth Audio Quality!!

Alternatively, we do have this post that speaks to pairing with computers and some of the issues you might experience.
