QuietComfort 35 II play pause music on any app issue

Everytime I pause the music and try to play it again I have to press the button 2 or more times, and sometimes it does not work, I have used Spotify, Samsung Music, Google Play, etc.

I cleared my connections list, and I have both Bose connect and headphones firmware updated.
Should I got to the Store?

Im sorry your having this issue. Do you have any other Bluetooth products you can try to replicate this on? Just so we know what steps to take next.

I paired my Galxy S9+ to  MOBO and plantronics headphones and I did not had the issue.

I see. I would like you to try the following steps:

  1. I need you to unpair the headphones from your phone.
  2. Clear the pairing list from your QC35 II.
  3. Uninstall the Bose Connect application.
  4. Restarting your phone.
  5. Then reinstall the application.
  6. Pair your headphones back up.

Let me know how this goes. This is a very interesting issue.

Sorry, it did not.

I read on other posts that may be related to an Android Update, recently my software updated.

I am not sure if it might be Bose or Android issue.

No worries. Were these other posts on the Bose Community Forum? If so would you be able to provide the links?

 

Can I also get you to provide me some further information:

  • Android Version
  • How long after pausing, do you press play again?
  • If you disconnect then reconnect (not unpair) the headphones, can you press play after?

Android Version is 9

One UI Is 1.0

It is just after press pause, sometimes if a take longer, it just does not work anymore.

If I disconnect them, sometimes it plays music others it does not,  I have to use the app that I am using for music.

Thank you for the information. If anybody else has these issues. Please post the same details below. What I can do is raise this issue to be looked further into and see whether this is an isolated issue, or whether it is happening across the board.

QC35 II Play/Pause button doenst work anymore - Samsung S7

Hello,

 

Since a couple of days, the play/pause multi-functional button doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S7 mobile anymore. The only thing I did the last days was to upgrade the Android Version to 7.0. All other buttons work. The play/pause button also works on my iPad.

 

I tried to "reset" the QC35 ii by:

  1. Turn the headset off and wait for 30 seconds.
  2. Plug the headset into a USB power supply via USB cord and wait 5 seconds. (Power supply needs to be plugged into the wall with power on).
  3. Unplug USB cord from headset and wait 1 minute.
  4. Turn on the headset and test if the headset works properly.

 

I also cleared the pared device list.

 

Can you please help me to get the button working again.
