SoundSport Free Won't Stay Charged Inside Case

When I open the case for the bose soundsport free, instead of the buds being at 100% and charging completely, they will be at a different percentage like 70%.

Thank you for reaching out. Im sorry to hear that your having this issue.

 

When you place these earphones in the case, does the white light come up inside the case next to the earbud? This should indicating that it is charging. Can you check that there is no debris on the pin inside the case. Also please check for me that the gold pins are still moving up and down, and aren't stuck in one position.

The pins move fine and there is no debris on the pins. The white light also turns on, but the problem still persists

The headphones are fully updated but the problem has not gone away

Thank you for updating us. The final troubleshooting step that we would recommend at this time would be to perform a product reset on your headphones. This can be done by:

  1. Place the earbuds into the charging case
  2. Plug the charging case into a wall outlet using a USB charger and wait 5 seconds
  3. Unplug the USB cord from the charging case and wait 1 minute
  4. Remove the earbuds from the case and try again
