SoundSport free - a dull sound on left ear

Hi,
I bought my SoundSport free few months ago,
Lately my left ear sounds terrible (low frequency) while the right ear sounds great.
I tried to update the firmware,
But the problem is still persist.

Any suggestions to fix the problem?

Thank you for reaching out to the community, sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Soundsport free headphones. 

If the update hasn't fixed the issue. Then I would recommend trying this from our Bose Support websie:
 

If you only hear sound from one earbud:

  • Place both earbuds in the charging case until they magnetically snap into place, and the charging indicators blinks white. Then, remove earbuds
  • Try a different source or streaming service
  • Try connecting to a different mobile device
  • On your mobile device, turn the Bluetooth feature off and then on
  • Delete your Bose® SoundSport® Free wireless headphones from the Bluetooth list on your mobile device. Then connect again


Try these steps and let me know if this solves the issue for you or not.

Hi,

I put them in the case and took them out many times.
In addition I have unpaired the pair them several times.

I tried to stream sound from several different services, like YouTube, Spotify and local player.

I tried to connect the SoundSport to different mobile and the problem is still persist.

I tried to connect my mobile another wireless earphones I own and they sound OK.
And the opposite way, I connected my SoundSport to another mobile and the problem is still persist.

Any suggestions?

Hello Rotemshan, 

Thank you for getting back so quick! 

I would recommend trying to reset your product. You can do so by following these steps:
 

To reboot your headset:

  1. Place the earbuds into the charging case
  2. Plug the charging case into a wall outlet using a USB charger and wait 5 seconds
  3. Unplug the USB cord from the charging case and wait 1 minute
  4. Remove the earbuds from the case and try again

Try this and let me know if this does change anything,

I tried to reset the SoundSport.

Earphones sent for examination and found defective,

they were replaced.
