Soundsport free stuck in a loop

While updating to the new firmware, my left headphone went into loop repeating "to select english..., to select english.., to select english" 

Then after letting the update finish, clearing bluetooth list, attempting to connect to multiple the devices .... the left earphone switched over lowering the volume over and over again. 

 

This doesnt make sense since the right ear phone was able to control the volume and language selection while the left earphone was in the same loop. 

 

Is there any way to hard reset the earphones other than putting them in the case?

Tony, you just saved my life. I updated and the left earphone stopped having a stroke. I got these not even two weeks ago,  Thanks again man.

Hi Kevio,

 

Thanks for posting. I am sorry to hear about that. It does seem unusual that would happen during an update. I would like to rule out 2 things if possible.

  • Something got corrupted during the update.
  • There is a physical issue with one of the buttons. 

Could we start with trying to run the update again from a computer? Try going to btu.bose.com and following the instructions.
