I bought a set of Soundsport Pulse 1 month ago. Yesterday, after 1 hour running the left bud started crackling, even after the set had been turned off.
The battery is now flat and failing to charge, all I get is a flashing red light which the handbook states is caused by operating out of temperature range, which isn't feasible.
i have emailed Bose with no reply, has anybody else crackling and battery failure? Can the battery be overcharged and doomed to fail as with Jabra sport pace?

I took my earphones to a Bose store who checked them and informed me that it needed a software upgrade, this took about 5 minutes and they work just fine now and charge properly.
Maybe worth taking them to your nearest Bose store?
