I bought a soundsport wireless headphone about a year ago and the rubber near the power button came off around March, I exchanged it from the reseller and it was a painful process that took me a couple of weeks without my headphone to finally get it replaced.
Now the new one is having the exact same issue, seems to be a known issue with this model.
My question is, should this be replaced again even if the warranty had expired since this is the second set that has the exact same problem ?
Can I replace it with another model and pay for the difference ? I don't want to run to this problem again.
I tried to reach to the local Bose dealer over here but unfortunately they are not picking up on their short number !!!

I have same issue...what is the resolution? Warranty? Replacement part? Plastic shroud on charging/powerbutton bud is coming off... powerbutton not working very well at all anymore...
Thanks for writing in!
I would recommend reaching out to your local support team for service on the headset at this point. Just click HERE and select your country and Contact Us at the bottom of the page.
Sorry for the late response.
I got mine replaced even after the warranty had expired.
It seems a well known issue and they didn't bother, they just changed it.
What's good with the new one is that the power button seems a bit hard to press now, I think this means that it won't come off as easy as before.
