iPhone 7 Plus Compatability

Hello. I just received yesterday a new Bose QuietComfort 20 unit, Bose part number 718839-0010. On the outside of the box there is no mention of my iPhone 7 Plus being compatiable with the Bose QuietComfort 20 unit. The compatability 'scale' only goes up to the iPhone 6 Plus. Will I have to return my purchase and exchange it for another model? Please advise and thank you for your time.

Re: iPhone 7 Plus Compatability

You're probably OK.  Try it and see.  Does it connect or not?

Re: iPhone 7 Plus Compatability

Hello BruceHarrisJr,

Welcome to the community, and thank you for your question!

For the newer iPhone models they no longer have the 3.5mm headphone input implemented, this is why that the iPhone 6 Plus is the latest compatibility model on the scale. However if you have purchased the Apple QC20 headphones, these will be compatible with your phone, you will just need a lightening cable adaptor.

I hope this helps!
