noise when using google assistant

The noise cancellation works well. However, when I press the action button to give input to google assistant, I hear a steady buzz, much like the noise cancellation is turned off temporarily. Once I let go of the button, noise cancellation seems active again. 

Is the noise cancellation turned off temporarily by design? Or is there something else I am missing

Thank you for writing in, glad to hear you are enjoying the noise cancellation. What it seems like you are hearing is a microphone activating when the Action button is pressed and held, which is normal. Could feel like a change in level in terms of High and Low ANC, but should not turn off the ANC. I can get that confirmed
