Power Off

When powering off, I get the audio prompt of 'connected to....'. After several pressings of the Power button for variable durations, I eventually get the 'disconnected' prompt. The power on/ off use to work with one press of the button. What's changed?

Nothing has changed. At least nothing should have changed.

The Power/Bluetooth button on the Bose Hearphones collar piece has several functions. You activate the different functions based on how long you hold the button.

Powering on your headphones

To power on: press the Power/Bluetooth® button until battery indicator glows green, yellow or red (to indicate the current battery charge level).

To power off: press and hold the Power/Bluetooth button until the battery indicator blinks three times and turns off. You will also hear power-down tones signifying that the headphones are off.

It sounds like you are holding the button just long enough for the Bose Hearphones to attempt to switch between Bluetooth devices, but not long enough to power off.

Please see Reconnecting a previously paired device (below).

If you can't press and hold the Power/Bluetooth button long enough to hear the three beeps as the Hearphones power down, please call us. There may be an issue with the Power/Bluetooth button.

Thanks,

Managing multiple connected devices

  • You can store up to eight paired mobile devices in the headphone pairing list and your headphones can be actively connected to two devices at a time
  • You can only play audio from one device at a time
  • When powered on, the headphones will automatically connect to the two most recently connected devices

Switching between two connected devices

Pause audio on your first device

Play audio on your second device

Reconnecting a previously paired device

Press the Power/Bluetooth® button to hear which device is connected

Press the Power/Bluetooth button again within three seconds to connect to the next device in the headphone pairing list. Repeat until you hear the correct device name

Play audio on the connected device
