901 Series V requirements?

I am having no luck getting the sound to be impressive with a 901 series speakers and active equilizer that I have recently assembled.

I have it connected as the instructions show, but the reciver amps I have offer no more than 110 watts per channel.

Is there a requiremt to have 300 watts to make the EQ really make the difference in the sound?

As I play it through now the Active EQ isnt even changing the sound quality at all in the speakers.

Re: 901 Series V requirements?

According to the tech specs on the last page of the pdf listed on this site here..

https://assets.bose.com/content/dam/Bose_DAM/Web/consumer_electronics/global/products/speakers/901_s...

It reads 10 watts per channel minimum, max is unlimited.

I saw this post on a didfferent site that mentioned 300 watts are needed

https://www.stereophile.com/content/bose-901-series-v-set

I was hoping someone in the Bose Community could help me sort this out.
