Bose Acoustimass 10 III

I recently shifted my HT room and now I noticed that my front right speaker is playing through the sub. Anyone with a reason why? Thanks

Seems like that would be impossible if you have it hooked up correctly.  I would double check all your connections and make sure everything is plugged in properly.

Hi AdrianRunners1,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bose Community!

I would recommend what @Xyz987 has suggested and check all of your connections into your receiver and make sure its all wired up correctly.

Let me know how you get on! I'd love to help!

Kindest,

Re: Bose Acoustimass 10 III

Thanks for the replies, I have spent the last 2 hours double checking the connections and isolating the speaker cord by trying other cords and still I am back to the same issue. To be more precise, the sound is very low and muted through the sub, as you would expect the sound to be when treble and mid sound come through a sub.

Re: Bose Acoustimass 10 III

I wonder if you have a bad cable.  Maybe you could try an experiment and reverse the wire for the front left and right speaker and see if you start hearing the left speaker through the sub.  Of course, that might not be possible if they all plug into a single connection to the sub.  I'm just thinking that if the signal is not making it from the receiver to the sub to the cube, maybe that would explain why you hear some of it from the sub.
