Bose Solo 5 Remote

Help with remote. I have the remote programmed I believe, but when I get to the TV Channel guide screen with the remote it won't let me switch between channels. When I do try it just goes to the channel that is currently playing. The cbl sat device is Mediacom/with a Pace Box. I'm not sure but the mediacom remote with TIVO doesn't shut off the Pace Cable Box either which makes me think there is something wrong with the cable box power switch.I'm going to check the other Pace cable boxes to see if they power off with the supplied mediacom remote.  Which in turn doesn't allow me to turn off the cbl sat device with the Bose remote either.Does anyone know what could be the cause of this issue?

Thank you for posting. From what you are describing, sounds like it could be an issue with Mediacom with Pace Box. Please let me know the results of the testing to the other boxes in your home if they are able to be turned off.
