Bose Soundbar 500 not working, white light blinking and fading

Suddenly my Soundbar 500 stopped working, white light blinking and fading to black since power on.
Soundbar is connected via ethernet, Bose Music app can see it but when I try to play something I receive this error: C3-SC1043. I tried to power off, reset using remote (power+skip fwd), no luck.
Mic off touch button works and firmware update web interface (on port 17008, using IP address read on my router interface) works.
Any help?

Hi, the error message was in Bose Music app when I tried to play something. I also removed power overnight.

This morning I called Bose Support Italy but we did not manage to make the Soundbar work again, so it will be replaced.

Try powering both TV and soundbar off for at least 3 hours . This worked for me

Thanks for your reply, but I left both off overnight with no luck.
Tomorrow morning I will call Bose support.
Meanwhile I think it could be a firmware issue. I can still access to my Soundbar info with Bose music app and I see that my firmware version is 2.1.7-5249+275cb49
Since I have access to manual update web page, does someone know if there is a firmware available to download?

Thanks for the post, and welcome to the community!

 

Where did you see that error message?  Was it in the Bose Music app?

 

As well, your firmware version is up to date.

 

Have you removed power from the system for a minute, then plugged it back in?
