I burned a music CD with Windows 10 Media Player which can be read by the older Bose Acoustic Wave Music System model CD-3000 plus the three other Bose radio/CD players we have. I burned the same music CD using Nero 10 audio CD at 8x rate, and this CD will not play on the model CD-3000, BUT, it can be played on the other three Bose radio/CD players.
Is there some special setting I need to use to burn a music CD with Nero 10 so the CD will play on this model?
The Acoustic Wave 3000 will only play standard wave files, make sure it isn't converting to another file type.
I checked the extension for the music and it is .wma (Windows Media Audio), so that must be the reason.
But, then, I recorded the same music using Windows Media Player, and a MAMA-A CD and that plays on the CD-3000.
The CD which doesn't work on the CD-3000 is Memorex and I used Nero 10 to burn an audio CD. This CD plays on newer Bose radio/cd players.
The music source is the same for the two CDs.
Wouldn't the format be the same regardless of the software?
