Cd player for a LS 535 series 3

Hello,

I would like to add a cd player to my LS 535. Is it posible to use a Lifestyle 5? Do I can play cd's on the 535

Or is it possible to add the wave system and use the wave system as cd player.

Hi Rj535,

Thank you for the question. Although the CD5 music center was engineered to work solely with its respective console, technically you can get it to work with your LS535. To get the music center to function as a stand alone CD player, you'll want to connect either the fixed audio outs, or the headphone output, to one of the red and white RCA inputs on the LS535. If you have the entire Lifestyle 5 in tact, you'll need to use the headphone output. You could also connect a Wave system by using the same respective connections (RCA or headphone depending on your model). The one thing to note is that using the headphone output will mute any speakers on the source device. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Kind Regards

Re: Cd player for a LS 535 series 3

Hi Rj535,

Thank you for the post. Unfortunately, you won't be able to operate the CD-5 from the remote of the 535. The CD-5 operates via RF and can't be controlled via the IR codes that the 535 uses to control external devices.

Kind Regards
