Our Cinemate 15 is nearly 2 years old. Recently, it would pop once in a while when changing apps on the tv (cable to netflix or prime, vice versa). A few days ago, the sound has been cutting in and out... annoying! Not sure what the issue is. We replaced the optical cable and still having issues. Wondering if the system is just fried or what else we can do to save our $$$ investment. Should we try RCA cable?
Sorry to hear you're having an issue, but welcome to the community. There are a few things you can try that may resolve this. Reset the Cinemate 15 my unplugging it from power for 60 seconds and disconnecting the optical cable, then reconnect and retest. If you have another device (such as the cable box) that has an optical output you can use that to test and see if the issue is just happening on the tv. If the same issue is not happening on another source try resetting the TV. This is typically the same process, but refer to your owner's guide.
