The Bose Soundtouch 300 does not use Bose Soundtouch 10 speakers as part of the surround sound experience. The Bose 300 soundbar gives you the front left, center, and right with the self-contained speakers. If you want to add the rear left and right for a 5 channel surround sound experience, you need to purchase the wireless Bose Virtually Invisible Rear Surround speakers. If you want a full 5.1 surround sound system, you will also need the Bose Acoustimass 300 subwoofer.
Thanks for the question.
As per what jimgfitz mentioned the SoundTouch 10's would not work as part of a surround sound setup for your SoundTouch 300.
If you are unable to locate an Acoustimass 300 or the Virtually Invisible rear speakers, the Bass Module 700 and Bose Surround Sound speakers are also compatible as well with your SoundTouch 300.
