Is the Bose Companion 5/50 end of life?

The Bose Companion is almost everywhere sold out in the Netherlands. Is the product end of life or are there new versions upcoming?

We are not aware of any plans to discontinue or replace the Companion 5, it's a very popular computer speaker system. I suspect the local stock issue is temporary.

Thank you for your post. There is no actual difference between the Companion 5 and 50. The only thing is the Companion 50's are not available in the US/Canada for purchase.

There are a little design differences, but the most significant differance is that the Bose Companion 50 has a 3,5mm jack and the Companion 5 has a USB connection with build in sound card. My companion 50's are sounding great!
