Remote gives message "not responding "

Hi Gpschulz, 

 

Does the PMC (personal music center)  remote work work when you are very close to the system or is it displaying this message regardless of distance? Can you try a new set of batteries? Are you able to get any of the buttons to respond? Let's try to re-establish the link between the PMC remote and the multi-room interface. To do this:

  1. Hold the Personal Music Center close to the Multi-Room Interface
  2. Press and hold "Mute" on the PMC until a beep is heard, then release
  3. After a few seconds, two more beeps should be heard, indicating the PMC has been reassociated to the MRI
  4. Retest to confirm that the link is established

I too have a problem with a Lifestyle 50 Model P-1 PMC, mine is completely kaput and will not work at all.

 

Do you have a replacement I could purchase?

Well I got crazy and bought a MRI box on Ebay.  I don't have it yet but hopefully it works.
