I updated my Lifestyle 650 with the last update and my settings appear to have changed.
I use my Blue Ray player as the Source and watch a movie and power off the lifestyle when i finish. The next time I want to watch a movie and power on my lifestyle, I do not get a sound if my Source is on Blue Ray Player. I have to then change my Source to TV or Soundtouch and then back again to Blue Ray Player and the Sound appears.
Has anyone had this issue? Appreciate if you can shed some light.

There are some troubleshooting steps that I would suggest to try and resolve this issue:

The next step may be to adjust CEC settings - this could possibly resolve your problem. Do you know if your Blu-Ray player has HDMI-CEC turned on? If so, it could be that we have to adjust the CEC settings on your control console. To do this -
1. Press 'SETUP' on your console.
2. Select "CEC Settings" from the menu.
3. Select 'Alternate On'
4. Press OK to enable the highlighted setting.
5. Press EXIT to close the menu.
Try this, and let me know if the issue still persists.

this sound issue is a well known bug in the firmware and is repeately reported by many users in this forum for the last 4 months! Why in hell do the mods still give customers useless tips which are time consuming and dont help at all. It wont make your customers happier! Instead the mods should confront the Bose developers with this absolute desaster. Not fixing this issue for such a long time is simply a shame. here a list of threads all describing the same issues:
Thaks for the reply. Unfortunately the reset did not help. I also tried CEC settings posted by Sam F and that did not work either.
Hops there is a fix.
