NO SOUND FROM CINEMATE 130 - SAMSUNG QLED 4K TV

I just went out and bought a SAMSUNG Q6F QLED TV. I came home to connect everhthing like I have in the past and I have no sound coming from my CINEMATE 130. In the past all I have to do is connect the CINEMATE and the sound, Apple TV, blue ray, etc. are all controlled through the Bose remote. Now I keep getting this error on the tv that says it isn’t compatible anymore. I have read lots of forums where people are saying that you now need to connect an audio cable because the HDMI/ARC doesn’t work for some reason. 

 

Can somebody please help me as I hAve already been playing with this for 4 hours now.

Thanks for posting in the Community!  Sorry to hear about the troubles, but happy to help!

 

  • Could you provide the exact phrasing the TV is putting out?
  • Have you tried replacing the HDMI cables from the system to the TV?
  • Is the system up to date?  You can check by holding down the red button on the bottom of the remote.  If you could provide us the software, we can confirm for you.
