New settings manual

Hi there. Is there a link/manual somewhere that gives details about new setting changes that happen via firmware updates?

for e.g. I don’t see any official information around the different audio settings like direct, normal etc.

Re: New settings manual

Hi subrasri,

Thank you for your inquiry! Currently, available release notes can be found HERE. Based on the specific sound settings you've mentioned, it sounds like you are using the Lifestyle 650 or 600 system. Is this correct?

If so, I'd be happy to provide some clarification on the individual sound settings:

  • Direct mode provides optimized playback for music
  • Normal mode provides balanced playback for most listening situations
  • Enhance Dialogue mode enhances speech clarity
  • Night Mode adjusts dialogue and volume during loud scenes

For anyone else in the community who may be curious; here are the steps to access these modes:

  1. Be sure the system is on
  2. On the remote, press the MORE button to view more remote functions through the remote control display
  3. Use the up and down arrow buttons the find and highlight the "AV Settings" option
  4. Select the highlighted option by pressing OK
  5. Select "Device AV Settings"
  6. Select "Audio" then choose one of the following options:
    1. Direct
    2. Normal
    3. Enhance Dialog
    4. Night Mode
The display will turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity

To restore audio defaults:

  1. Be sure the system is on
  2. On the remote, press the MORE button to view more remote functions through the remote control display
  3. Use the up and down arrow buttons the find and highlight the "AV Settings" option
  4. Select the highlighted option by pressing OK
  5. Select "Restore Audio Defaults"
  6. Select "Confirm". The display will turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity

Best regards,

Brian
