lost power cord called Bose for a replacement. Does not appear as if power is going to it. Tried other outlets, tried same outlet with other items and they work. Nothing even lights up when I plug it in. Tried setup as new i.e. installing update disc . Nothing works.

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your Wave Music System. The system uses a standard 'figure of 8' power cord, so if you have a spare lying around the home, you may be able to test with one of these. If you continue to experience issues, please reach out to support in your country to discuss service.
