Hello, I just connected my Sharp smart tv to the Internet and can now access Netflix however I do not get any sound through my Bose system. Do I have to connect an optical connection from my tv to my Lifetime 535 console?
Thank you for your post. Yes, you'd need to connect a digital optical cable between your TV and Lifestyle 535 console to receive audio from smart TV apps. But, before you simply connect the cable, be sure to go through the Unify Setup steps within your Lifestyle system settings.
Here are the steps:
With the TV and Lifestyle system turned on, press the SETUP button on the front of the Lifestyle console
Navigate to TV SETUP, and press the RIGHT arrow on the remote control.
Navigate to ADD TV AUDIO and press OK.
Select YES for the first question that appears on-screen.
Continue to follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
