Our Bose CD player (only 1 CD size) will only play a CD to track 4 or 5, then just shuts down. Display is still there..just no sound. Have tried cleaning it, unpluging it, different CD's, but still shuts down.
Curiously have you tried to move the system into a different room and re-test the CD's in the system? There could possibly be electronic interference in the area causing the audio to stop. Does the same issue occur if you listen to an AM/FM radio station? Do these CD's work properly when playing them on a different device?
If the CD's work correctly on another device, the same issue occurring using AM/FM, and moving the system into a different room does not resolve the issue, I would recommend contacting your local support center.
