Soundbar 700 universal remote won’t connect to TV

On the app, For my Soundbar 700, I try to add a new device under the TV section of the Universal Remote. I can get to the Enter Your TV Brand section and it thinks and thinks for a couple of minutes.... eventually the app allows me to type in a TV Brand. I type SAMSUNG, and the continue button remains greyed out and I’m unable to continue.

Please help.

  • Can you try and power cycle the soundbar and the router for 30 seconds to see if it's a cloud communication error?
  • Have you tried setting up the remote on a different mobile device?
  • How far away is the soundbar from the route?
  • Can you provide us the model of the TV as well?
