Soundtouch 300 no sound

We got the Soundtouch 300 for Christmas (2 months ago) and it was working fine until today. We watched a show on Chromecast and then when we switched back to regular TV, there was no sound. The owner's guide suggested holding down the TeleText button for 10 seconds until the lights went white, but the lights never changed. Any suggestions?

Hello dbowdler,

Did you try resetting the system? Do you have the Bose Connect app? If so have you updated the software?

The owner's guide said to reset the system by holding down the TeleText button for 10 seconds until the lights went white.  But the lights never changed, so we were not able to reset the system.

Hello dbowdler,

I just want to make sure you pressed the SoundTouch button on the remote before trying the reset? I also want to make sure you were pressing and holding the bottom right button on the remote? In the manual it looks similar to the TV input button.

as the other use mentioned,  you have to press the soundtouch button on the remote first, then hold the teletext button. That is how you do a factory reset.

Which button is the soundtouch button?  There is nothing labeled soundtouch in the diagram of the remote.

Hello dbowdler,

The SoundTouch button is between the AUX and Bluetooth button on the remote.
