bose 3-2-1 series III

The remote seems to loose parity with the unit.  I unplug the Acoustamax power, unplug both ends of the optical cable, wait 30 seconds and then plug everything back in.  The remote will work for a few days...sometimes just for a few hours and then nothing.  The lights on the remote indicate it is working and I checked the remote output with my cell phone....it just loses it's parity and it is frustrating to have to reset it all the time.
