iPod dock power - 525 SoundTouch

When I power down after playing my iPod, the main console does not fully do so, with the indicator showing orange. Only when I remove the iPod from the dock will it change to red. Is there a way the dock can be powered down instead?

Hi nwmgc,

Thanks for the question.  The orange LED on the front of the console means that it is in standby mode, or that it's turned off and charging the iPod that is connected to the dock.  If you're removing the iPod from the dock and the LED is changing to red, that means that the system is indeed off.  There's no way to power down the dock, aside from removing the iPod.
