"Cannot find Acoustimass" cinemate520

Hi all! I have a msg "Cannot find Acoustimass" on my cinemate520 console. I have tried the manually pairing by unpluging, remote -> system blabla... pluging and still the msg reappears after few seconds. Now I can't use it... any help please? Can't even update or anything!

Hi Tim,

 

Thanks for the post, and I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your setup.

 

I just want to confirm that you've gone through all of the steps to try and re-pair the bass module to the console.
 

  1. Unplug the Acoustimass module AC power cord
  2. On the remote, press System
  3. Press the Down Arrow until "15 PAIR ACOUSTIMASS" appears on the display
  4. Press OK. "Plug in Acoustimass" appears on the display
  5. Plug the Acoustimass module AC power cord in the AC outlet. After the Acoustimass module connects to the console, "Pairing complete" appears on the display

If the bass module does not connect and you get the same "Cannot Find Acoustimass" message, can you check the LED on the back of the bass module?  What does it show?
