Acoustimass 10 Series V Connections to 7.1 AV Receiver

Hi,

I got this Acoustimass 10 Series V and have just unboxed and mounted/installed it.

I also got myself a 7.1 Receiver (Denon AVRX1600H).

The Front, Center speakers and Woofer connect fine.

It is just the Rear two speakers that I am clueless about: should these go in the Receiver to the 'Surround' output or as 'Surround Back' output?

Whichever you want.  Normally, they would go to the surround back to give you a Dolby Digital 5.1 output.  The difference between 5.1 and 7.1 is the addition of the surround speakers on the sides that you don't have.

Google search:

"Connectivity
Acoustimass 10 system:
Compatible with A/V receivers and amplifiers rated from 10 to 200 watts per channel, rated from 4 to 8 ohms"

Personally, I would go toward the higher end of the power range.
