Acoustimass 600 speakers

My subwoofer from my Acoustimass 600 speaker system doesn't appear to be working, how can I test it?

Hi there, and thanks for reaching out!

I'm sorry to hear this. I'd be happy to see if we can get this working for you!

 

Firstly, I would suggest that you check the speaker connections at the receiver/amplifier you are using is correctly set to "+ to +" and "- to -".

Following this, can I ask that you check all of the cables for damage, check the ports for any blockage/debris, and different power port(s) where possible?

 

If you're using the Dolby Digital mode, please check that your receiver has the correct settings and that the source is transmitting from Dolby Digital.

If you're using the Dolby Pro-Logic mode, please check that you have surround speaker set to "on" and the centre channel level set to "Normal".

Didn't work! Purchased a new subwoofer and it works fine. Bose subwoofer must be bad, is there a fuse or something inside the unit that could have blown or come loose?? The Acoustimass 600 has no direct connection to receiver so not sure why it doesn't work?
