Alexa stopped communicating with Bose Soundbar 700

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.)

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce - Alexa has stopped responding to commands on Bose Soundbar 700.  There's a red light on the soundbar.  I've turned Soundbar off for about 5 mins then restarted, but still no joy


What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)


When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

Started this afternoon.  Yes, was working fine this morning

Any troubleshooting steps you took

A red LED on the soundbar would indicate that there is an error and will require service. You can reach out to your local support team by clicking this link and selecting your region.
