Thanks for posting and reaching out to us today. I am sorry to hear that you are having issues connecting your Soundbar to your TV.
I would recommend ensuring that you have followed the steps that @BrianJP has suggested above. As well as checking out the owners manual here for how to set up your Soundbar. Setting up the Soundbar via the Bose Music App will make this easier for you as it will run you through the set up of the Soundbar.
