Hello, thanks for your suggestion.

The SoundTouch 300 Sound Bar is not compatible with Dolby Atmos. We will continue to evaluate Dolby Atmos and other emerging technology so that we can assess the benefits that it could provide to our customers as we plan for future products. In the meantime, Atmos content is fully backward compatible with Bose Solo, CineMate, and Lifestyle systems, ensuring that customers will get the same great audio experience that they do today, without requiring any changes to their existing system.

You can also utilize the ADAPTiQ calibration process with your SoundTouch 300 Sound Bar, which will enable room-filling audio specifically programmed to the layout of your room, which offers similar benefits to that of using a Dolby Atmos in the home. Special microphones inside the ADAPTiQ headset listen to the sound and analyze the response from the speakers. Bose proprietary software automatically optimizes the system performance for playback in your environment.

I'd be happy to log your valuable feedback today with our product development team. If you have any other questions please reach out to the community again and we'd love to help.

Re: Bose Dolby Atmos speaker

Thank You so much for your valuable reply. Please develop Dolby Atmos speakers compatible with Bose Sound Touch 300 so that we can pair it with aap and connected through WiFi. Klipsch is having separate Dolby Atmos speakers which can be pair. Similarly you people can build separate speakers compatible with ST300. Regards Gobind.

Re: Bose Dolby Atmos speaker

I agree. That seems like the best add-on for Bose. I have the soundbar 700, sub 700 and the wireless surrounds. Bose should develop small Atmos speakers to sit next to the soundbar.

Re: Bose Dolby Atmos speaker

While they may bring out an atmos compatible system, it's unlikely to be compatible with the older systems such as the soundtouch 300.  Being earlier models they would only have a certain number of transmitters (ie for the two rears and two bass modules - not sure if there are any others) so adding speakers in the future would require extra transmitters that didn't exist when this was designed.

If they included these in products that weren't going to use the feature for 5 years (when developing) then cost of products would also increase.
