Come on Bose, we need real solutions, not that type of answer that doesn't help anyone.
Hi, i literally just bought and setup the device and I cannot believe i have this problem still although it is reported years ago. Is there any solution available? Samsung is one of the mainstream tv manufacturers, i don't understand how a vendor like Bose has this basic issue and do not respond!! I really don't want to use 2 remotes for this. Please don't make me return the device!
The same happened to me with VIZIO TV.
The back button does not work for Netflix, Amazon, and other apps.
Surprisingly it does work with Youtube application.
What can be done.... do we need to buy another universal remote on amazon to have just 1 remote?
will it work for both - TV and soundbar?
Pressing square button did work to go to movie page.
But left arrow button click after that does not work

I have a universal remote from a Bose solo 15, attempting to use it for navigation on Sony KD55X750F. No luck. Stop button doesn't work either.
Will have to use two remotes, or purchase a proper universal remote.

Ok so they have been aware of this issue for more than a year and they still advertise it as universal remote without even addressing the problem. Great brand.

Having the same problem. It’s incredible that bose is quite about it and still have not provided a fix/solution for it whan you see how long people have complained about it. Maybe that is why bose has made it impossible to raise the issue with support on their website.
