Bose remote control doesn t work correctly further than 2 feet away to control TV Sony

I just installed the sound bare 500 with my TV SONY XBR-55850C using the HDMI-4 ARC port only.

The bose remote control is controlling well the sound and the ON /OFF of the TV when I m on the couch.

I need to move the remote control at 1 or 2 feet from the Sound bare to be able to control all the other features for the TV.

When I m on the couch I can see the white light of the sound bare blinking when I press any button of the remote control but nothing happen. I need to be max 2 feet from the sound bare.

Any idea how to solve this?
