Bose soloo 15 needs to be reset!

i have a bose solo 15, i have had it for appox 4 to 5 yrs, lately i constanly have to unplug it to reset it, and have to wait a period of time before it will work, is there a fix for this like a software update, or do i need to take it in for service?
