Bose product name

Bose Lifestyle 650

Country

USA

Firmware Version

App Version

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.)

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

At present I have Lifestyle 535 Series 3 with concealed wiring for all five speakers. I am thinking to replace it with Lifestyle 650. The question I have is about installing the new speakers.  Is it possible to just replace the old speakers with new ones without changing the concealed wiring?

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

Any troubleshooting steps you took

Hello mrx123XX,

Thanks for reaching out!

The rear speakers utilize a wireless receiver so the existing wiring will not be necessary for use as you will not be routing through to the main console wired.

For the front speakers, existing wiring will work, but you'll need adapters to convert from a bare-wire connection to the console (see below.) The adapter can be purchased by calling the service team in your country.

Adapter required: 6-pin Connector to Bare Wire Input Block

I hope this helps! Any other questions, please do get back in touch. 😊

Thanks.
