Help! New cinemate 2 owner! FiOS dead end

PLEASE HELP!

 

I can't for the life of me find a code that makes the Verizon (Arris VMS 1170) FiOS box respond. I have the cinemate GS s2.

 

I've tried all of the codes listed to no avail.  Anyone have luck?

Hi Liambada,

 

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

 

When you have been programming the remote to control the FiOS box, have you been following the steps shown HERE? As there are 2 types of remote that can be used with the CineMate shown on that page, can you please let me know which one you have? Once I know which remote you are using, I'll be able to see what tricks there are to get it up and running with your cable box.
